Siemens relocates Busbar business
Siemens Automation & Drives acquired the Busbar
Business from Moeller Electric on 1/7/05. Siemens have
now completed the transfer of European Busbar
manufacture to its new state of the art ISO 9001 factory
in Mohelnice, Czech Republic.
In a parallel move designed to take advantage of
synergies in Siemens Business activities, the UK sales
office has now moved to the Manchester Headquarters of
Siemens Automation & Drives.
The new facility offers over 12,200 m2 of production
space to provide improved deliveries
Siemens Automation & Drives can offer the widest range
of Busbar product ratings with 8 ranges providing
ratings of 25 Amperes to 6300 Amperes. High power
Busbars can include up to 6 conductors, designed to
accommodate the growing demand for Double Neutral
conductors.
A Siemens innovative temperature monitoring system can
be installed in Busbar joints to give real-time
indication of any changes to joint temperatures, to give
clients increased confidence in the maintenance regime.
For installations in unpredictable environments Siemens
can offer a brand labelled epoxy Cast Resin system,
which can be fully interfaced with our Metallic systems.
