Confirmed superior functionality, safety, and quality: Bosch
Plena Voice Alarm System receives TÜV certificate
The independent, internationally recognized testing
authority, TÜV Product Service GmbH in Germany, has
issued certification for the Plena Voice Alarm System
from Bosch Security Systems. TÜV conducted tests of the
Plena Voice Alarm System independently according to
standard EN/IEC 60849, "Sound Systems for Emergency
Purposes". This standard is applied for hotels, schools,
entertainment venues, sports facilities, railroad
stations, department stores, exhibition halls and
similar buildings. The issue of TÜV certification in
this rigorous test confirms that Bosch Security Systems
has satisfied exceptionally stringent requirements in
its development of public address and evacuation
systems, surpassing the industry standard.
Plena is a plug-and-play system that includes an
emergency microphone, an integrated 240 Watt power
amplifier, and voice transmission for up to 6 zones. It
is designed for small to medium size applications with
up to 60 zones, and provides all key functions such as
full system monitoring, switching to disaster
amplifiers, loudspeaker circuit monitoring, an integral
message manager and comprehensive control elements and
indicators on the front panel. The system is also
equipped with comprehensive public address functions.
The Plena controller can be used as a stand-alone
solution for small systems, but can be easily expanded
to 60 zones with 6-zone routers. If more power is
needed, Plena power amplifiers can be added. Optional
remote control panels that duplicate the Plena Voice
Alarm System user interface enable the system to be
installed in a basement or fireproof cabinet, so that it
can be operated from another part of the building or
from a different location.
