New Astral shades as Polyflor strengthen safety floor offer

In the latest move aimed at consolidating and extending its leading position in the sheet vinyl safety floor market, commercial flooring specialist Polyflor Ltd has introduced new colours to its top-selling Polysafe Astral range, increasing the total choice to 14.

“Polysafe Astral’s bold, attractive styling has been as important to its outstanding success as its sustainable slip resistant performance and low maintenance characteristics,” says Polyflor marketing manager Simon James. “So the new vibrant Astral colours feature a multi-coloured flake decoration to mark the latest phase in the continuing development of our safety floor offer.”

The Polysafe portfolio now comprises no fewer than eight core product options. Top of the range are Polysafe Corona, Polysafe Astral and Polysafe Design - all incorporating Supratec+, the second generation of Polyflor’s unique soil releasing polymer system, now including polyurethane for reduced dirt pick up, even easier maintenance and life cycle cost savings of up to 60%.

Also included are high style, high performance Polysafe Vogue Ultra, the universally popular Polysafe Standard, Polysafe Hydro for continually wet and barefoot areas, extra tough Polysafe Ultima for busy commercial kitchens and food preparation areas and Polysafe 3.5 for extra heavy-duty areas.

“We now have the most carefully structured portfolio of low maintenance safety floors available, meeting market demand at all price points with a wide range of decorative options, whilst retaining the key attributes of a safety floor - sustainable slip resistance and cleanability,” says Simon James.
