New interior surfacing materials and textures from Formica add to breadth of choice

Formica Limited is the market leader and only manufacturer of High Pressure Laminate in the UK. Exhibiting at Interbuild, Formica Limited will showcase the breadth of its complementary and co-ordinating interior surfacing materials, including new product ranges; Range Additions 2006, Formica Chemtop2™ and the Formica®-Unilin MFC Collection.

The company’s fresh and creative approach to product development continually pushes forward manufacturing and design boundaries so that Formica Limited consistently brings to the market the latest innovations in interior surface materials, finishes and designs. Ensuring that the company offers a surfacing solution for every customer, these new product ranges are designed to meet the needs of specific marketplaces, enhancing and expanding its already strong portfolio of products.

A “materials wall” will demonstrate the whole range of co-ordinated products available from Formica Limited. In addition to the new ranges, the wall will include standard and compact grade High Pressure Laminate, Formica® Veneers and Formica® Metallics which incorporate real wood veneers and real metal foils, Formica Colorcore® with its solid colour throughout and Formica® Solid Surfacing.

Range Additions 2006
Expanding the company’s extensive specification range, ‘The Collection’, to include the latest European and global design and style trends, the new ‘Range Additions 2006’ offers new plain colours, patterns and woodgrains, and incorporates unique new textures, Naturelle and MicroDot.

Formica Chemtop2™
Perfect for specifiers and fabricators who design for high stress environments such as hospitals and laboratories, the Formica Chemtop2 range offers High Pressure Laminate with exceptional chemical resistance. Co-ordinating designs are available in both standard postforming and compact grade laminate that provide limitless application opportunities.

Formica®-Unilin MFC Collection
This new and exciting working partnership offers a “mix of materials” that retail designers, shopfitters and the commercial furniture sector demand. This trend-led collection, which brings together 80 co-ordinating MFC and High Pressure Laminates, has been carefully researched to reflect current and anticipated trends.

Formica Limited is also delighted to again be a material sponsor for the Architecture Pavilion designed by Will Alsop. The pavilion will showcase exciting surface finishes set in a dramatic context – in particular the new innovative surface texture for Woodgrains, Formica® Naturelle.
