EMEX POWER emergency lighting
EMEX Power from Emergi-Lite is a true passive
stand-by emergency lighting unit, specifically designed
to provide safe and reliable emergency power to
designated lighting circuits in a mains power failure or
evacuation situation.
EMEX Power offers a low maintenance and extremely
reliable central power solution, built to exceed current
emergency lighting standards. The system provides a
constant 230V AC output. This means that the luminaires
do not have to be converted and operate at full light
output during an emergency, which is particularly
important in high risk areas.
The EMEX Power is a flexible, modular system, using
standard units to create installations from 1.5 to
120kVA. This enables the user to hold fewer spares and
have the knowledge that any component can be replaced in
approximately 15 minutes, reducing downtime.
The EMEX Test system can be used with the static
inverter system to automate the standard periodic
testing of the emergency lighting system. It allows all
the static inverters to be linked to, and be controlled
by, a single standard PC. The emergency luminaires are
tested from the inverter, via a test interface mounted
adjacent to each one. Up to 4000 interfaces can be
linked to a single inverter, there can be up to 255
inverters per system, and up to 32 separate systems
networked to a single PC.
The system is compliant with BS EN50171, with batteries
compliant to BS 6290 part 4.
