Health & Safety first for Thurston with two key appointments

Thurston Building Systems, based in Horbury, Wakefield, has appointed two health and safety specialists to its senior management team.

Janet Blezzard joins the team from international rail and transport company Bombadier. NEBOSH qualified her auditor experience covers all three main systems of Health & Safety, Quality Control and Environment. She recently achieved Tech IOSH membership and will be using her considerable talents and experience to improve and develop process and procedures for Thurston.

Leading quality, health and safety and product development on behalf of Thurston Building Systems is David Elliott. A professional engineer and specialist in quality management, David brings to the company 40 years of industrial experience and holds a degree in engineering, a management diploma and is NEBOSH qualified. In his spare time he is also the successful author of the Concertina Maintenance Manual, now in its second edition.
