Distributor CDL prioritises training
Toshiba distributor Cool Designs Limited (CDL)
recently undertook a series of intensive training
sessions for local contractors in the North West at its
new branch and trade counter in the region.
This new stockholding facility was specifically designed
with a purpose-built training centre within it. This is
indeed a sign of the times, as the importance of
training comes increasingly to the fore. A few years ago
such an investment may not have been considered
affordable.

The very well-attended sessions covered the latest
legislation, Toshiba
VRF technology, new controls and Toshiba’s popular and
distinctive Super
Digital Inverter Split systems.
CDL will shortly be announcing a further series of
training events to cover the newly launched Toshiba
Mini-SMMS capacity gap-bridging VRF system that has
already broken all company records for pre-launch sales.
CDL managing director Darrel Birkett said “we see
training as a priority within the range of services we
provide. Toshiba’s new products are the best around so
it is vital to offer as much training as possible on
them, so that people can get the most out of them –
especially in such an energy-conscious marketplace - an
area where Toshiba systems excel.”
