Marketing award not to be sniffed at

For a second year in a row ARDEX UK have been victorious at the Anglian Business Awards. In a prestigious ceremony at the new Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre Ipswich, ARDEX UK received the award for Marketing 2006.

The Anglian Business Awards have become a pinnacle annual event for businesses based in East Anglia and reinforces the significant impact that companies in the local area have on the whole of the UK economy.

For a second year in a row ARDEX UK have been victorious at the Anglian Business Awards. In a prestigious ceremony at the new Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre Ipswich, ARDEX UK received the award for Marketing 2006.

The Anglian Business Awards have become a pinnacle annual event for businesses based in East Anglia and reinforces the significant impact that companies in the local area have on the whole of the UK economy.

For the launch of two innovative low odour floor levelling compounds called ARDITEX NA and ARDITEX RS 2, ARDEX UK had to ensure they had a campaign which generated demand and awareness for the new products, while also ensuring existing product sales were not cannibalised.

A unique campaign evolved, which featured direct mail, channel activity with all distributors of ARDEX products, an extensive press based media campaign and most importantly a wind up walking nose! These unusual noses formed a focal point for the campaign of ARDITEX NA and ARDITEX RS 2 and proved extremely popular as a promotional device at exhibitions, product presentations, etc., providing a lot of fun and reinforcing the low odour benefits of the new products.

ARDEX UK’s campaign for ARDITEX NA and ARDITEX RS 2 fulfilled the judges’ requirements of demonstrating a high level of commercial success as a result of a clearly articulated objective-led campaign strategy, leading to measurable and verifiable business results.
