It's just not cricket as Glovers heads for The Ashes

Shane needs to be warned, there’s a new team to contend with, as Glovers the winners of Fläkt Woods’ cricketing competition flew to Brisbane to watch the Ashes series.

The contest for a 10 day all expense paid trip for 4 was open to all of Fläkt Woods’ Express Range distributors and although the rivalry was fierce, the team from Glovers clinched the coveted prize thanks to their exceptional business performance throughout the year, with the highest year on year growth achieved.

“Glovers were the worthy winners of the trip, as the award recognised outstanding growth for the whole year, and through demonstrating an above average strike rate for our products!” commented Neil Yule Sales and Marketing Director of Fläkt Woods.

Known as Bris Vegas, Brisbane is renowned for its sun and its thriving arts capital, with dozens of theatres, cinemas, concert halls, galleries and museums.

“We were never stumped for things to do in Brisbane” declared Gary Mortlock, Commercial Director of Glovers, “For openers we took a trip around the town, and took in some of the sights. But the highlight had to be the trip to the Gabba Stadium where we watched an unlucky England beaten by the old enemy”.
