Icopal’s Anderson Monarflex brand has brought 30 years of industry-leading expertise in printing scaffold sheeting to bear with the launch of a system that enables large, one-off designs to be produced in super-fast time.
Until recently, the limitations of technology meant that it was only really possible to print small repetitive designs on scaffold sheeting. While this is cost effective for larger contractors and developers, the minimum order of 50 rolls made this unviable for smaller developers and contractors as well as one-off, individual designs.
Now, advances in printing technology and some smart thinking by Monarflex have led to the introduction of DigiWrap where 42m-wide photo-quality images can be printed on a one-off basis and within 7 to 10 days on high-quality scaffolding sheets instead of hoardings, 48-sheet posters and banners.
So as well as shielding the labour force and building from the elements and the contractor/developer from expensive site delays as well as passers-by from dust, debris and disruption, DigiWrap enhances the view and the reputation of the advertiser, be they the developer, contractor or just the purchaser of the medium.
DigiWrap is available in Monarflex’s Scaffband FR and Airflow FR containment nettings which are both tested to LPS 1215 flame retardant standards, exceeding the performance requirements of BS 8093 and BS 7955. It has also been designed to break away from the scaffolding in storm force winds, avoiding any danger of the scaffolding being pulled down.
While practicality on site is very important, it is the product’s ability to turn a functional scaffold into a highly-visible advertisement that really delivers innovation and value.
DigiWrap enables developers to replicate the marketing materials traditionally found in sales offices, show homes and the property pages of the local newspapers on site in a super-large format guaranteed to draw even more passing trade.
While DigiWrap is completely weather proof, the inks used to print on polypropylene sheeting are rain- and UV-resistant to ensure the images remain true for at least six months - excellent value compared to the cost of renting 48-sheet poster sites or printing and hanging banners.
