Karelia-Upofloor Ltd  - Karelia Spring Sports floors approved for basket ball court use by FIBA

An important breakthrough in the acceptance of the Karelia Spring sports floors in basket ball court use took place as Karelia-Upofloor with its Karelia Spring and Karelia Spring Portable products was approved as an Associate Member of the International Basket Ball Federation, FIBA.
The membership means a three year Associate agreement with FIBA. Through granting Karelia the associate member status, FIBA declares that the Spring Sports floors fulfill the standards specified for competition floors according to the Research & Study Center Approval Programme 2007-2010.
The Spring Sports floors have been approved for all competition levels, including Olympic Tournaments.
