EcoLEDLighting launch innovative energy efficient luminaries

In the wake of the EU’s announcement to ban incandescent light bulbs in just two years to help the fight against climate change, UK-based LED (light emitting diode) lighting technology specialist, EcoLEDLighting has launched a new range of energy efficient, MR16 LED downlights. Designed and manufactured in the UK, they replace dichroic and halogen light units. The MR16 products offer between 35W and 80W comparable light output to existing technology but consume 80% less energy while dramatically reducing radiated heat (typically 85% cooler).
EcoLEDLighting’s new “fit and forget” MR16 LED products offer unrivalled performance capabilities and cost saving benefits, even when compared to compact flourescent lamps (CFLs). Where once the CFL was the energy-smart lighting choice, the advances EcoLEDLighting has made in LED lighting technology has firmly positioned their LED luminaries as the energy efficient lighting forerunner. As well as increased energy efficiency, LEDs offer a longer life span than CFLs (up to 100,000 hours) and are available in different colour variants. EcoLEDLighting’s 12W & 16W MR16s replacements are also fully dimmable, available in 4 different beam angles and in white or warm white. The 12W version is also Parts L1 & 2 compliant.
