Panton Sargent - Designer coffee reaches new creative level with interiors experts Panton Sargent brings atmospheric rebrand to Café Nino’s surroundings
The leading interior design team at
Midlands-based Panton Sargent has just unveiled its first work
for tasty new client, Café Nino. With the inaugural outlet now
open for business in Worcester and the second one in Tunbridge
Wells recently completed, these new homes of the popular food
and coffee champions offer more welcoming respite.
Panton Sargent’s original brief was to analyse the strength of
the existing Café Nino interior brand offering, provide a
progressive design proposal and oversee the production of the
new interior scheme.
The team visited Café Nino outlets in the initial stages and
felt that the quality of the service and product available was
not reflected in the environment that had been created. With
fierce competition raging in the gourmet coffee market, the
brand required a look and feel that was both contemporary and
unique to strengthen its high street presence.
After a competitive pitch process, Panton Sargent’s interior
designers were awarded the contract to bring their concept to
life in more than 120 outlets in the next five years. Project
manager, Tom Marlow was clear on the reasons that his team was
selected: “We won this business as we could demonstrate the
knowledge, capability and resource to deliver the project to a
high standard and to budget, within the allotted time scales.”
The intention of the design concept was to create an unimposing
space which would enhance the Cafe Nino brand values whilst
giving the customer a feeling of quality and exclusivity. At
both sites, this was achieved in approximately eight weeks.
The Café Nino franchising concept was established in the United
Kingdom in 2005. The first outlet was soon the centre of
attraction to executives, shoppers and families alike who
enjoyed a wholesome light meal, good coffee and good
conversation in an Italian pavement café ambience.
“The interior design concept presented and now delivered by
Panton Sargent’s interior design team will give Café Nino the
profile it deserves. We don’t want to provide a run of the mill
coffee experience but something much more authentic and
inviting.” said Café Nino founder and master chef, Shaun Napier.
Panton Sargent Interior Design is rapidly establishing a
reputation for its versatility in design within a cross-section
of public buildings. As specialists in the healthcare sector,
the team is regularly commended on its ability to consult
thoroughly throughout all stages, positioning patient privacy
and staff environments at the top of their design agenda. The
team’s expertise also reaches to cutting edge office space
transformations and major workspace refurbishments.
