The Stanley Street Co - Businessman saves city centre project
A businessman has come to the rescue of a
city centre project which ground to a halt over a year ago.
The Montreal Building was destined for success when previous
owners ran into financial difficulty, forcing workers to down
tools.
Now, thanks to businessman Thomas Brown of The Stanley Street
Co, an investment of £5m has secured the future of the Montreal
Building and work has again commenced on the planned design
hotel and luxury members club due for completion early Summer
2007.
“The Montreal Building is brimming with potential and to see
that go to waste was something that just couldn’t happen. The
new name for the venue will be PRINT, homage to the building’s
history and we are very positive about the future of this
project,” comments Nick Henry, general manager, PRINT.
PRINT will comprise luxury accommodation with four loft suites
and two duplex Penthouse lofts, as well as a luxury members
club, night club, bar and restaurant and is set to add more than
a touch of luxury and sophistication to the Stanley Street area.
Nick continues: “PRINT is something the city has never
experienced, it will not only attract visitors to the city due
to its unique concept, but will also be a valuable asset to
local businesses and professionals. There will also be one hell
of a party when we finally open our doors for business!”
