sectors of the Local Government will have to consider,

schemes now. Intelli-Hood is a demand based ventilation
system which can be retro fitted into extract hoods in
commercial kitchens.

Apart from the environmental issues it addresses,
reduced energy usage helping with CO² emissions, Intelli-Hood
offers substantial reductions in energy costs associated
with extract and supply fan energy, as well as savings
gained from reduced waste of conditioned air.
Using a microprocessor and sensors, the system primarily
controls the extract to operate at the minimum level
necessary, by monitoring conditions in the cooking zone
and appropriately varying the speed of the extract fan.
