Design-led architectural practice, Design Group 3 Architects has promoted Nick Baker, 41, to Group Design Director.

In his new role, Nick is tasked with maintaining and enhancing the practice’s design standards by utilising his considerable flair and creativity to ensure that innovative, sustainable and commercially successful projects are consistently delivered.

Nick will be responsible for maintaining excellent client relationships by making sure that every project put forward by the practice in response to a brief provides a design-led solution that meets the exact requirements of the client.

With a career in architecture which spans over 16 years, Nick’s extensive experience has laid the foundation for his role as Group Design Director.

Nick graduated with a BA(Hons) in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and he attained his professional qualifications and RIBA registration in 1994.
