MITA UK Ltd - Aemsa goes back to school
One of the first installations of Mita’s new aemsa
wire cable tray is at the Guru Nanak Sikh Secondary
School in Hayes, West London, the first Sikh secondary
school in the country, which is currently being enlarged
as part of a £7.6m project.
The work includes a new three-storey teaching block, a
sports hall and a general refurbishment of the original
school buildings. The teaching block is due to be
finished by this summer and the whole project should be
completed by February 2008.
Aemsa wire cable tray will carry data and power cables,
including fire protection and sub-mains cabling. The
tray has been supplied in an electro-zinc finish with a
standard depth of 70mm. A variety of widths are being
used ranging from 100mm to 600mm.
IDC (Integrated Design Consultants) is the architect,
planning consultant, surveyor and consulting engineer
for the project, whilst the M&E contractor is Lowe &
Oliver and the main contractor is Mansell.
