Space Airconditioning plc In conjunction with senior management from Daikin Europe’s, Brussels based, consulting sales group, recently co-hosted successful conferences in London, for multi-national representatives of the hotel industry.
Two conferences were organised, one for French speaking delegates and another with delegates from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, the UAE and UK.
Space Air and Daikin Europe shared the stage to present seminars on Daikin’s extensive chiller and fan coil range, heat recovery ventilation and third generation VRV. The programme also featured various case studies of particular relevance to hotel designers, developers and operators, where total Daikin air conditioning solutions had been specified.
The conference venue was the five-star May Fair hotel. Purchased by the Radisson Edwardian Group in 2003, the May Fair has been comprehensively re-designed in a £75 million plus extension and refurbishment, where Space Air was fully specified to supply Daikin air conditioning systems throughout.
In one of the largest projects of its type in Europe, the air conditioning installation combined Daikin VRV, air cooled Chillers and bespoke heat recovery ventilation units.
The conferences concluded with guided tours of the main plant areas and luxurious facilities in this landmark London Hotel.
