UK Green Building Council - Launch of the UK Green Building Council

What is the UK Green Building Council?
On Tuesday 27 February, an unprecedented coalition of the UK’s leading built environment organisations will launch the UK Green Building Council with the aim of transforming their approach to delivering a more sustainable environment within the next 10 years.
Thirty-six of the most influential companies in the £90bn built environment sector have signed up as Founding Members of the Council with the aim of dramatically improving the sustainability of the built environment by radically transforming the way it is planned, designed, constructed, maintained and operated.
Under the Chairmanship of Peter Rogers (Director and Co-Founder of Stanhope plc), the Council is inviting all like minded organisations that want to both share knowledge and provide leadership within the UK and internationally, to join the Founding Members in achieving a step change in the sustainability of the UK built environment.
