Purcell Miller Tritton focus on residential activity with new Associate

Leading architect and historic building consultant, Purcell Miller Tritton, has announced the return of Martin Dunseath to its London office, joining the team responsible for the delivery of residential projects throughout the UK and Eire.
Martin previously worked with Purcell Miller Tritton as a Junior in 1990 whilst studying for his professional qualifications, but left the practice in 2001 to develop his experience. He rejoins the company after working as Project Architect with Brady Mallalieu Architects.
"At 34 years of age Martin brings experience of having worked in mixed-use and individual residential projects, and helps strengthen an expanding area of work for us at PMT,” said Mark Goldspink, Chief Executive at Purcell Miller Tritton. He went on to add, “Within weeks of returning as an Associate he is already working on a fantastic redesign of a £10million London Georgian property, adding a subterranean swimming pool. This is the kind of work that combines our specialist heritage skillset with modern architecture and is helping us win assignments from London to the Middle East.”
Martin, who has been involved in the design of social housing across the UK, private residential accommodation at the former Royal Naval hospital in Great Yarmouth, as well as several other iconic grand houses and private client’s residences throughout the UK and Eire, said “Returning to PMT has given me the opportunity of combining leading edge residential design with aspects of heritage architecture. For example one of the current projects near Victoria involves digging down five metres to form a new basement in which we are locating a stunning new swimming pool and media room, whilst preserving all the facets of a six storey Grade II listed building above.”
He went on to comment, “Residential architecture allows us to deliver dreams for people who view their properties as homes rather than just commercial assets and I am delighted to be returning to my natural home at Purcell Miller Tritton.”
