Eversheds - Leading renewable energy lawyer to bolster eversheds'
planning team
International law firm Eversheds
today announces the significant appointment of Marcus
Trinick as a partner in its leading renewable energy
group. His arrival will also strengthen the company's
planning
team within its real estate practice group. Marcus
Trinick is joining from Bond Pearce and is widely
regarded as one of best lawyers in the renewables sector
and is the UK's leading wind farm expert, according to
Chambers 2008 Guide.
With over 20 years experience in planning and
environmental law, Marcus has appeared as advocate at
almost 350 public inquiries, advised on planning
applications, appeals and 220 proposed renewable energy
developments in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern
Ireland. In addition Marcus has also been involved with
the preparation of many Environmental Statements and has
advised on a number of biomass and energy from waste
projects.
Marcus joins Eversheds as a partner and will be
responsible for growing the firm's renewable energy
offering.
Michelle Thomas, partner and head of the renewable
energy group at Eversheds said:
