Gleeds exceeds International growth targets

Gleeds, the International Management and Construction Consultancy, has expanded its international operations across Mainland Europe, Asia and India and is ahead of growth targets as a result of increased workload.

In the last year alone in Europe, Gleeds has opened three new offices across Poland in Poznan, Katowice and Wroclaw to build on their existing services across commercial and retail sectors and plan to open a further office in 2008. Recent projects have involved the provision of four office buildings for the Globe Trade Centre in Krakow as well as acting as Project Monitor in creating a 300 bed Hilton Hotel in Warsaw’s business district.

Since being founded, Gleeds Polska has gained experience on a wide range of projects throughout Poland, Ukraine and Russia. As part of their plans to expand their European operation Gleeds has opened a further office in Ukraine, as well as recently establishing themselves in Albania with the opening of an office in the capital Tirana.

At MIPIM, the International Property show, Gleeds also announced their expansion into Western India. They will open a new office in Bangalore in the coming months and further offices in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad are expected to follow before the end of 2008. With India developing as an economic powerhouse Gleeds are to offer Project Management, Cost Management and Health and Safety services as well as additional activities.

Over the last two years there has been considerable growth in all International markets and as a consequence we have had to strategically look at the various locations for our new offices. We have focused our efforts to expand in Poland as it is a large country, with its location providing a gateway to the rest of the EU. As a result, there are considerable investment opportunities and an enormous potential for growth. The economies outside of the EU also offer a fantastic opportunity and an increasing amount of our business now comes from outside the UK.”
