The Sash Window Workshop makes a move towards furthering their
standards of timber sustainability
 The
Sash Window Workshop has just introduced Accoya, a
revolutionary new timber sourced from sustainable,
managed forests and impregnated with a non-toxic
treatment as a new wood for their craftsmen to use to
make windows and doors. Accoya is proven to perform
better against the elements than even the most durable
hardwoods, such as oak and teak and has a warrantee of
up to 50years. It is also approved by the BRE group, the
world’s leading specialist in the research and testing
for sustainable environmental products in buildings.
