IMPERIAL BATHROOMS LAUNCHES FIRST EVER SOLID TIMBER SOFT-CLOSE
TOILET SEAT
 As
part of its pioneering new product development programme, leading
British manufacturer, Imperial Bathrooms, has introduced the world’s
first ever range of solid timber toilet seats available with a
soft-close mechanism.
Designed, manufactured and handcrafted in-house to the highest
quality standards for which Imperial is renowned, this unique range
features a specially developed hinge that enables the soft and slow
closure of both the seat and cover, thereby eliminating the
possibility of the seat slamming shut which creates unwanted noise
and can cause damage.
The new soft-close option features across Imperial’s entire range of
solid timber toilet seats. All seats are available in a variety of
design styles and finishes, and they may even be purchased as a
standalone item to modernise other makes of sanitaryware.

Handcrafted using the finest quality solid woods and real wood
veneers, the new soft-close timber seats co-ordinate beautifully
with Imperial’s extensive range of luxurious sanitaryware and solid
timber furniture. The beauty of the wood’s natural grain is also
safely sealed beneath a layer of protective lacquer to resist
moisture ingress.
