Kalirel - Hot topic for training seminar

Representatives from long established electrical distributor, Edmundson, and Ireland’s newest technology services company, SmartHome, were amongst delegates attending Kalirel's most recent Approved Installer seminar.

The one day training session was an opportunity for trading partners of the electric central heating system manufacturer to undergo an intensive course to better acquaint themselves with the benefits of Kalirel’s revolutionary heating product which is now taking the UK by storm.

Already an established brand in Europe, Kalirel produces 5000 radiators per day at its two highly automated plants of a combined 20,000 sq. metres in Burgundy, France.

Commenting on the seminar programme, Christiaan Russell, from Edmundson’s Hertford branch says: “The Kalirel team are passionate about their product, which came across strongly in the very informative and well presented programme. I am responsible for heating sales and will be keenly marketing Kalirel.”

Along with Edmundson and SmartHome, businesses such as Leroy Merlin, CEF, Hagemeyer, Ace Electrical, Prop-spec, Hatrick-Bruce, Electric Heating South West, City Heating and the Economy Radiator Company have taken the opportunity to become Kalirel trading partners. The company however continues to offer exclusive dealership areas as it establishes its expanding network of regional partners in the UK and Ireland, with seminars being just part of the extensive support package on offer.

Salvatore Cirasuolo, Managing Director of Kalirel UK, says: “Our product is compliant with the latest edition of Building Regulations Part L, 1 and 2. It is a responsive heat management system that makes a unique addition to the sales portfolios of companies with complementary products and services. By using only the exact amount of energy that each independently working radiator needs, Kalirel’s technically advanced electric heating system can reduce heating bills by up to 35%, depending on the existing system installed.

Without wires, pipes or the need of a boiler, the thermo-dynamic fluid filled radiators come equipped with a switched fused spur (5-10amp) and wall brackets and can take literally minutes to install.
In addition, Kalirel offers two control options: a Classic pilot wire controller and Cyclope®, the ultimate hi-tech handheld programmer. Cyclope®, the first of its kind in the world, uses patented Zigbee wireless technology to receive, display and adjust radiator settings, as well as monitor energy consumption, bringing ultimate control to the energy saving system at the touch of a button.

Kalirel has two manufacturing plants (total 20,000 square metres), both of which are in the Burgundy region of France. The company has a production capacity of 5,000 radiators per day and an average output of 190,000 radiators per year and is a well-established brand in Europe. The company’s UK base is in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
