Evolve Energy Empowered by Industry Award Success

Evolve Energy takes top honours for 'Service & Maintenance' at this year's Building Controls Industry Awards and is nominated as finalist in three of the other seven categories.

Ashdown Control Services, an Evolve Energy company which designs, supplies, installs and maintains control systems for commercial property heating and ventilation systems, has won 'Best Service & Maintenance Provider' at this year's Building Control Industry Awards.

In addition to the win, Evolve Energy was selected as finalist in the following categories:

Student of the Year - Stephen Parker of Nobbs & Jones, an Evolve Energy Company
Independent Systems Installer of the Year - Ashdown Controls, an Evolve Energy Company
Judges' Special Award - Ashdown Controls

Ashdown Controls provides round the clock maintenance support via its Energy Operations Centre (EOC). Recently accredited with the Carbon Trust's Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme, Evolve Energy promotes energy efficiency and carbon reduction through the design, supply and installation of new building energy management systems and refurbishments of existing ones. This acknowledgment of its first rate contribution and dedication to service and maintenance further highlights the company's position as a market leader.

Gaining a finalist position for the Judges Special Award this year recognised the organisations commitment to training. Evolve Energy is committed to providing structured, high quality training for young engineers and adds 10% to the engineering base every year as apprentices. This was highlighted by the well deserved nomination for Stephen Parker in the Student of the Year category.

Since Evolve Energy was founded in November 2006, the company has expanded rapidly through the aggregation of leading companies in the areas of building automation, metering, energy reduction solutions and supply analysis.

The Building Controls Industry Awards programme organised by the BCI Association, honours the companies, innovations and people that have achieved the highest professional standards. Each award recognises best practice in the key areas of technical innovation, engineering excellence, energy saving, service and achievement, training, sales growth, customer care and employee motivation.

The awards signify the growing importance that businesses place on looking beyond the basic energy cost saving scenario to finding specialist market leaders who can provide long term total business solutions to monitoring, controlling and reducing their energy consumption.
