EXPERIENCE OUTER SPACE AT INTERBUILD
 Interbuild
2008 (Sunday 26th – Thursday 30th October) is playing host to
industry heavyweights in a specially created outside area.
The UK’s biggest building show is now even bigger, extending to a
sizeable space surrounding Hall 5’s main entrance. Echoing the big,
bold thinking translated across the whole show, exhibitors will be
invited to display anything and everything that is simply too large
or heavy to showcase indoors.
“With no restriction on the size or weight of an outdoor display,
the opportunities at Interbuild ’08 really are limitless,” says
Interbuild Event Director, James Gower.
“As THE trade construction event, it adds so much more to the show
to have an area capable of hosting the plant and machinery that we
as an industry rely upon.”
Diggers, cranes and large machinery at work will enjoy a prime spot
outside the NEC’s Piazza entrance, attracting a captive audience of
some 44,000 plus people going to and from Interbuild 2008.
“In our experience, the Hall 5 entrance is a real hub with visitors
tending to congregate here. I anticipate that ‘Outer-Build’ – as we
aptly refer to it – will become a hugely popular part of the show,”
says James.
The new outside area is a natural extension of Hall 4’s busy Truck &
Tool cluster, which has already confirmed big name brands including
Bosch, Stanley, Hitachi, Metabo, Makita and DeWalt.
Organisers took the decision to expand the format following the high
level of interest from the commercial vehicle sector which has a
particularly strong presence, with companies including Fiat,
Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Ford, Citroen, Mercedes and Isuzu all geared
up for the 2008 event.
