Compatible with either universal or D-shaped pans, each new range offers the luxury of soft close. Eliminating entirely the crash of a dropped seat or cover, this feature provides a whisper quiet close for an improved bathroom experience and is particularly suitable for households with children. The new Calmo and Delight seats are both available with a range of hinges to suit every type of installation.

Calmo, being the Spanish word for “calm” and “quiet” is a most fitting name for this latest development. The design is compatible with the rounded, universal shape toilet pan and has the soft close feature as standard. Manufactured in scratch-resistant Duroplast, the Calmo seat is shaped for ultimate comfort and the cover closes over the seat with a graduated side overlap and sits flush at the front edge. Hinges, which are manufactured from stainless steel, are available in various options, including fixed and top mounted, for ease of installation on almost any design of toilet. Dimensions of the seat are 155mm between the fixing centres, 370mm wide x 436mm deep and it is available in three colours – white and two neutrals, manhattan and pergamon.

The letter ‘D’ plays a significant role in the design concept of Pressalit’s new Delight range. As well as referring to the discreet styling of the seat and being a delight to sit on, it is also perfectly formed to cover the latest D-shaped toilets. Manufactured in white Duroplast, it has a smart, modern design with a wrap-over cover and comes with soft close as an option. Features include great strength and stability with a 240kg load capacity and specially designed hinges that are extremely easy to clean. Hinges are manufactured from stainless steel and plastic, with fixed and top mounted options available as required. Dimensions are 123-223mm at the fixing centres, a depth of 404-454mm and a fixed width of 350mm.

Duroplast is a remarkably durable compression moulded material that is more stable than injection moulded alternatives. It is scratch and burn resistant, dirt and waterproof. /MORE
