Weyerhaeuser appoints Select Bois et Placages as European Lyptus veneer partner

International forest products company, Weyerhaeuser, has appointed SelectBois et Placages (Select Woods and Veneers) as its preferred European partner for the Lyptusâ veneer range. An environmentally sustainable hardwood, Lyptus veneer is available in a wide choice of rich and natural
colour tones, offering a high quality and natural finish for any interior furniture, panelling or door application.

The high-end nature of Lyptus veneer is reflected in its inherent characteristics. Elegant and stylish, the tones range from a light golden colour to a rich mahogany trend, allowing the specifier flexibility to
create an atmosphere and mood where richness and natural beauty are of equal stance. Moreover, nuances in the veneer give Lyptus a unique finish that cannot be imitated with man-made materials, or achieved with any otherhardwood. The appearance quality will also be retained over time, as Lyptusis resistant to fading and oxidising.

The advantages of Lyptus veneer reach beyond aesthetics. Grown on plantations that are PEFC and FSC certified, Lyptus is specified as much for its proven environmental credentials as it is for its natural beauty.
