Marshall-Tufflex - Quality water management system

builders and installers wanting a quality water management system
backed by market-leading performance and colour guarantees need look
no further than the Universal brand from Marshall-Tufflex.
Professionals familiar with the company will know that Marshall-Tufflex
has, for many years, offered a well-respected range of guttering
systems grouped together under the Universal brand – products
include the Half Round and Square Line gutters and associated
accessories.
Last year this range was supplemented by the newly introduced
Universal Soil & Waste system and now it has been completed with the
addition of Universal Underground, allowing Marshall-Tufflex to
offer the complete roofline to underground system.
“Completing the triple – guttering, soil & waste and underground –
is a really important step forward for us,” said Product Manager
Chris Scott. “It enables our customers to order their entire
requirement from one source and take advantage of a ‘whole system’
guarantee from Marshall-Tufflex. It gives installers one point of
contact, one guarantee and, importantly, peace of mind that all the
components are of the highest quality and designed to work perfectly
together.”
Universal Underground is a strong, durable system that’s lightweight
and straightforward to install and compatible with other existing
systems and materials. The innovative seal and snap-cap system
allows push-fit joints throughout. Its 110mm PVC-U pipes and
fittings are manufactured to BS-EN1401-1:1998.
The full range of guttering systems from Marshall-Tufflex:
* Universal Commercial Plus (170mm x 117mm) is the newest launch. It
can handle very large volumes of water and is suitable for buildings
with big expanses of roof, for example commercial, industrial or
agricultural buildings. Alternatively, it can also be used for
larger domestic housing/apartment schemes.
* Universal System Plus is an ogee system measuring 128mm x 88mm.
Again, it is suitable for larger residential buildings, smaller
commercial premises and conservatories. A comprehensive range of
fittings support this profile.
* Universal XL is also designed to cope with high flow, but is
slightly smaller at 114mm x 71.5mm. Its deep elliptical profile
maximises flow to downpipes, minimising the number required.
Applications include terraced and community housing and light
commercial buildings.
* Marshall-Tufflex’s Half Round system is a loose clip design with
rounded ends to make it easier to fit. Its size –114 x 51mm – makes
it perfectly suited to domestic installations.
* The Square Line system is slightly larger, at 114mm x 59mm. It is
the only domestic guttering with top hung fascia brackets to give
smoother lines.
All systems are manufactured from high impact, high gloss PVC-U.
Colours include black, white and brown, whilst some systems include
grey and a clay brown specifically developed for the timber
conservatory market.
