David Ball Group Plc - Announces New Pudlo Division

New service consolidates waterproof concrete expertise for direct support to clients
Today 29th January 2008 David Ball Group plc announces the creation of a new division called PUDLO that will provide the construction industry with a dedicated waterproof concrete service.
David Ball, Chairman of the David Ball Group plc explains that the new division will provide the industry with improved access to advice about all aspects of watertight concrete construction:
"The benefits of waterproof concrete for both below and above ground construction are still poorly understood," he explains. "We have significant international experience in creating watertight structures with long-term sustainability features. So we took the decision to bring together this knowledge and consultancy experience with our specialist products to offer the industry a comprehensive service. This is backed by a unique 20 year warranty and independent insurance backed guarantee covering the completed works, not just the product."
David Ball's product PUDLO, which lends its name to the new division, enjoys an international reputation for durability and has been used to waterproof structures all over the world for over 100 years. The company has recently had the product independently assessed and it has been shown to additionally increase the compressive strength of concrete, and provide increased chemical resistance. Along with the benefits of waterproofing, PUDLO also eliminates the need for membranes and coatings, thereby saving on materials and reducing the project construction time..
PUDLO will provide a unique service to the construction industry and it will sell its products direct. This will enable its onsite supervisors along with the office based technical support department to provide support for client's projects from conception to completion.
