GENSLER LONDON ANNOUNCES A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP
London, UK, February 5th, 2008 - Gensler, the
leading global design firm, announces the promotion of 2 new
principals alongside 7 senior associates and 16 associates to its
London staff. This follows high growth year whereby the London
practice saw a 45 percent increase in revenue as well as a 3o
percent rise in staff numbers. The new appointments not only
recogniseoutstanding contribution, innovation, and client service
but are a platform upon which the next generation can build
invaluable industry experience.

consolidate its knowledge and skills, whilst rewarding staff on
their merits," commented Chris Johnson, co-managing principal of
Gensler London.
Genslers new London principals are Philip Gillard and Duncan Swinhoe.
Gillard joined Gensler London in 2000, and was responsible for
establishing Gensler's Learning Practice Area in London. He now
leads the Learning Practice firmwide working with his counterparts
across the globe to improve educational design worldwide. Gillard is
much sought after by public and private sector clients alike and has
recently been advising Kent County Council on its £1.8 billion
Building Schools for the Future programme.
Duncan Swinhoe joined Gensler in July 2004 and is practice area
leader for Commercial Office Buildings. Swinhoe's focus is
architectural development in the UK, Europe and the Gulf region.
Working as a senior designer on a diverse range of demanding and
high profile projects, Swinhoe has developed a thorough
understanding of all aspects of complex, large scale developments
such as Tameer Towers, a 9 million square foot, mixed use tower in
Abu Dhabi.
