Gensler - Strengthens leadership in the EMEA region
Gensler, the global Design and Planning firm,
announces the appointment of Kenneth P. Baker as Co-Managing
Principal for the UK, Europe and the Gulf region. Previously the
Co-Managing Director at Gensler's Washington D.C. office, Ken will
help lead the firm's ongoing expansion in the EMEA region,
concentrating mainly on the firm's workplace offer, allowing Chris
Johnson, the current managing principal, to increase his focus on
architecture and planning. Ken's appointment follows a staggering
45% increase in turnover and a 30% increase in staff numbers in the
European and Gulf regions alone over the past 12 months.
An award-winning designer, Ken joined Gensler in 1996. Since then,
he led projects for Time Inc, General Motors, Delloite, the Tribune
Company and leading law firm Sidley Austin, among others.
