BOWMER AND KIRKLAND STRENGTHENS ITS STRUCTURE WITH TIMBER
ENGINEERING DIVISION
 As
demand for the use of timber structures within the commercial sector
continues to rise in order to meet sustainability targets, Bowmer
and Kirkland Group, one of the largest privately owned contractors
in the UK, has launched a new specialist division – B & K Timber
Structures.
B & K Timber Structures is a trading division of B & K Steelwork
Fabrications Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bowmer and
Kirkland Group, and specialises in the manufacture and installation
of Glulam timber engineering in addition to timber and steel hybrid
structures. The new management team comprises of Nick Milestone
(Construction Director), Andrew Goodwin (Commercial Director) and
Wayne Yeomans (Operations Manager). Offering a total package of
services from start to finish, B & K Timber Structures will value
engineer each project to ensure the highest level of service and a
product that not only meets aesthetic and functional requirements
but also offers optimal cost benefits.
Nick Milestone, Construction Director of B & K Timber Structures

B & K Timber Structures provides a full site management and
installation team to ensure materials are manufactured, supplied and
installed to the highest standard, tightest schedules and exact
budget requirements.
With its expertise in steelwork fabrication B & K Timber Structures
also offers the design and installation of hybrid structures,
combining the aesthetic and environmental benefits of timber with
the financial savings offered by steel. Where appropriate it can
provide new-build commercial projects with a reduced carbon
footprint without compromise to quality.
