Emerson Crane Hire Takes Juwel to New Heights
 Juwel,
the Henley based German manufacturer of concrete ready-made
buildings, is partnering with Emerson Crane Hire, one of the UK’s
top crane hire companies, deliver its range of modular buildings to
customers across the UK.
Juwel, which has been trading in Germany since 1996, opened its
sales office in Henley in January this year. Juwel buildings,
manufactured from steel enforced concrete, are delivered as
complete, finished structures and so need to be lifted into
position. Emerson Crane Hire, which has been in the industry for
thirty years, operates a modern fleet of vehicles suited to the
installation process.
Commenting on the partnership, Joe Robinson, Managing Director for
Juwel (UK) Ltd, said: “Emerson doesn’t simply supply cranes, it has
the technical expertise to meet all our lifting requirements, from
risk assessments to detailed CAD drawings to map out a particular
lift.
“As these buildings are delivered complete and ready to use straight
away, we needed to work with a company that would have the
experience to plan and execute all our Contract Lifting, Crane Hire
& Transport needs whether on a close knit housing estate, a
commercial site or a small house in the country.”
Juwel modern method of construction (MMC) buildings, are available
in sizes ranging from 5.5m to 8.99m in length, 2.55m to 3.48m in
width and 2.85m to 3.44m in height.
Steve Kirby, Director at Emerson Crane Hire commented: “Though we
haven’t seen a product to match Juwel’s in the UK, we have handled
many projects of a similar scale.
