MONODRAUGHT RAISES THE ROOF, TO AN ARTFORM!
 Following
Monodraught’s launch of the Residential Sola-boost at Interbuild in
November, the company has introduced the 'chimney stack' – which is
in fact a solar driven PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) system. The
Monodraught Residential Sola-boost is aimed at the new generation of
zero carbon houses that are built to considerably higher standards
of insulation and draught proofing than traditional houses, and
therefore carry the inherent risk of overheating during summer
months when windows and doors may remain closed for security
reasons.
However, while many house builders and local authorities welcome
this new advance in ventilation technology, they still prefer to fit
traditional chimney stacks on their houses. These innovative
Monodraught ‘chimney stacks’ therefore provide the perfect
opportunity to maintain a traditional look while specifying the very
latest in energy free solar powered ventilation.
The new turrets combine traditional styling with, in one version, a
replica chimney stack arrangement, all designed to fit on the ridge.
The Classic Turret, Chimney Stack and Clock Tower designs, all of
which incorporate a solar driven fan, replace the top section of the
Monodraught Residential Sola-boost system that is removable to allow
the integral solar panel to be set facing the sun.
