Wolverhampton Development Company announces board of directors
 Leaders
from the council, university and business communities support city
growth
The recently formed Wolverhampton Development Company (WDC) today
announces the appointment of 11 directors to the company’s board.
Set to make Wolverhampton a city of regional, national and
international significance, WDC is working with partner
organisations to increase the pace, scale and quality of development
opportunities across the city.
Commenting on the board appointments, Graham Mackenzie, WDC’s
chairman, said: “It’s great news for Wolverhampton that we have
attracted such experienced and well respected directors. The city
has enormous potential. With the guidance and support of a strong
board I am confident we will be able to make Wolverhampton one of
the most successful cities of the 21st century.
“We are in the fortunate position that Wolverhampton already has a
lot of positive attributes including good transport connections, an
excellent university, world-class businesses and a very welcoming
community. Through physical growth, identifying new opportunities
and attracting investment we will ensure Wolverhampton continues to
be a great place to live and work.”
