Chubb Ranked Number One Business Superbrand in Security and Fire
Protection
Chubb announced today its ranking on the 2008
Business Superbrand list as the number one fire protection and
security brand in the UK. As the highest-placed security and fire
business within the rankings, Chubb finished more than 70 places
ahead of Group 4 Securicor and 163 places ahead of ADT. Chubb was
also rated as the 57th strongest brand overall, beating other
well-established brands such as Cisco Systems, Adobe and the AA.
Chubb is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies
Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
Companies placed on the prestigious Business Superbrands listing are
vetted through a rigorous selection process that includes
researching the opinions of more than 1,500 business professionals
(in a survey conducted by YouGov) and close consultation with an
independent council of industry experts.

well respected and widely recognised brand,” said Stephen Cheliotis,
Chairman of the Business Superbrands Council for 2008. “The
essential components that define a Business Superbrand – quality,
reliability and distinction – are all widely evident at Chubb.”
