Townsend Timber really does have something to celebrate!
 Three
generations over 23 years, 115,000 metres of fencing, 1,500 timber
buildings and 3,000 tons of timber - Townsend Timber really does
have something to celebrate!
Based in Pulham, Dorset, independent company Townsend Timber is
celebrating after achieving record sales in 2007. The timber
company, which designs, builds and supplies bespoke timber
buildings, fencing, doors and gates, has been serving customers
throughout Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire for over
23 years. Townsend Timber is run by timber specialist Simon Notley
with the support of his father Bill Notley, who started the Company
in 1985 and a team of 12 dedicated timber professionals. Simon
comments: “It really has been a fantastic year for Townsend and
thanks must go to our skilled team for their continued hard work and
commitment. No two jobs at Townsend are ever the same and over the
last few years I have really enjoyed working with my father to
expand on the successful range of services that the Company
provides. We have already worked on some excellent projects this
year including building an oak framed visitor centre and there are
some very exciting growth opportunities ahead."
Townsend Timber works closely with its customers to create unique to
meet their individual needs and requirements, built using
sustainably sourced materials where possible. The Company’s website
details its many services and products available, including fencing
and gates, oak framed buildings, timber recreational and commercial
buildings, joinery and garden furniture. Townsend Timber prides
itself on designing and making individual products and not only
offers a complete turn-key build service but also works alongside
other trade professionals in the area.
