Flakt Woods - Appointments strengthen sales force
Fläkt Woods has made two significant appointments within its
products team. Mike Beeton has joined the Company as its UK Chilled
Beam Product Manager, with responsibility for the Company’s complete
range of chilled beams. Dean Edwards has been appointed as
Sales/Project Engineer on the System side of the business for the
East and West Midlands.
A familiar name within the industry, Mike Beeton has been in
Building Services for over 30 years, the last 15 spent with Halton
where Mike was responsible for introducing chilled beams into the UK
market. Prior to that he spent 5 years with the Carrier Corporation
involved with the sales of chillers and Air Handling units. Today,
the role of chilled beams is widely recognised. However, in those
days he was a pioneer, creating the concept before he sold the
product.
“This is a exciting opportunity for me,” says Mike “as Fläkt Woods
has an excellent standard range and the potential to develop bespoke
products to meet the latest demands within the industry. With my
systems knowledge of how these products can be applied and
integrated into building services, I’ll really be able to push sales
onto a new level.”
Based in Colchester, Mike, will be able to look at complete systems
owing to the range of products available within the Fläkt Woods. He
will be advising consultants, developers, architects and contractors
on the best combination of products for a building, to give the
greatest energy savings and improved Life Cycle Costs.
Dean Edwards brings with him a wealth of expertise and knowledge of
ventilation systems and solutions, having worked in the filtration
industry for most of the major manufacturers. Dean’s experience to
over 600 major projects involving many main contractors, end users
and local authorities.

in the Midlands.”
