Honeywell International - Backlighting makes Honeywell ST9000
controls range even easier to use
 Honeywell
has introduced backlighting to the ‘extra large’ display on its
ST9000 series of heating programmers and timers, making it even
easier to use these versatile new controls to save energy and
enhance comfort. The displays are also double the size of those in
the Honeywell products they replace, allowing more information to be
displayed, more clearly, when required.
Backlighting makes the unique Honeywell Line of Text (LoT ™) display
concept, with simple ‘on screen’ text prompts, even easier to read.
Backlighting can be set to be on or off, or to stay on for 15
seconds after pressing any button.
Honeywell developed the LoT concept so users cannot fail to make use
of its new controllers’ many smart features. For example, they
provide up to three on/off periods or six temperature changes per
day to match temperatures with lifestyles.
Installers and users can choose one of several preset
time/temperature programmes to save time, or programme in their own
option by following simple instructions.
The ST9000 series includes models for all domestic heating and hot
water applications, for radiator and underfloor heating, with gas or
oil fired boilers including condensing and combination models, as
well as electric heating or cooling systems. The three initial model
types are:
ST9100 timers for combi boilers or individual zones
ST9400 programmers for heating and hot water
ST9500 2 Zone programmer for multi-zone applications
Each is available in a dedicated single or multi day version. The
multi day can be configured for 7 day 5/2 (weekday/weekend)
operation, or 7 day to allow a different program each day, or
restricted to single day use.
