COMAR APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR
 The Parkside Group Limited, which comprises Comar Architectural
Aluminium Systems and Axim Architectural Hardware and is also the
largest distributor of Duco sun control and ventilation products in
the U.K., are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter
Dziurzynski as Managing Director of the Board.
The Group has enjoyed record turnover in 2008. To capitalise on this
performance and to take the Group to the next level, Peter’s
appointment, in time for 2009, is an excellent strategic move.
Peter brings a wealth of experience from the European aluminium
industry to the Group, most notably as Managing Director of Alcan.
This expertise from operations and extrusion to architectural,
specifier and contractor channels, will ensure the core of
businesses can continue their high yield growth.
Derek Cook will remain as Chairman with overall control, but the
day-to-day Managing Director role is delegated to Peter.
Derek stated “We have grown rapidly over the last 10 years and in
order to continue this growth, direct hands-on experience from a
multi-national is required. I have known Peter for many years, right
from when he worked at Alcan France (Pechiney) and his energy and
strategic skills will ensure the continued growth and success of the
Group”.
Peter added “The Parkside Group Limited is an extremely successful
business and coming into an organisation with profitable, clearly
defined vertical markets offers a secure platform to develop new
revenue streams and increase market share”.
Peter will join the Board from January 2009.
