The 7STR and 6HJT ecotile is ideal for use as a gym floor as it is impact resistant and tough enough to cope with dropped weights whilst providing an attractive and comfortable floor to train on.

Cayenne Court residents association needed a floor installed in their gym that could be installed quickly and simply and that would help dampen the noise to make it a quieter environment especially for the occupiers of the flats adjacent to the gym complex.

We lifted the existing carpet and installed the tiles over the underlying concrete floor without the need for adhesive. The fact that ecotile can be dry laid was a major advantage in this instance as it ensured the floor was installed quickly and with a minimum of disruption thus complying with the tight schedule dictated by the gym’s opening hours. The different colours and textures of the tiles were used to mark out the different functions of the gym and the tiles can be lifted, moved or added to if necessary.
