Tile Depot, the UK’s largest independent tile and stone retailer with its prominent green and yellow logo, is now an official stockist of the award-winning CornerTape range of products, compatible with all types of kitchen and bathroom tiles for a perfect bead of sealant every time.

Now available in all 14 Tile Depot stores, CornerTape is a product system designed to guarantee easy and effective preparation as well as a simple, accurate and fast method of ‘masking up’ before applying all types of sealant – including painters caulk, silicone and MS Polymer’s – to tiles, baths, showers and worktops, for a perfect, clean edge finish and without the normal mess.

A trial of the CornerTape system at Tile Depot’s Whetstone store proved a huge success and now, every Tile Depot store has a floor standing CornerTape display installed, complete with TV screen and video demonstrating how simple and effective the system is. Free customer DVD’s are also available in-store, which include step by step guides to the most common silicone sealant jobs around the house.

Complementary to Tile Depot’s massive range of wall and floor tiles in ceramic, porcelain and natural stone, the CornerTape system contains a choice of Silicone Remover Tools and a Residual Silicone & Grout Remover Brush to easily remove old silicone; CornerTape Preparation Wipes to kill bacteria and ensure perfect adhesion for the new sealant; and CornerTape in a range of sizes, as a dedicated ‘masking tape’ for sealant.

Available from Tile Depot in four different widths - 2.5mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm - in rolls of 5m and 15m in length, CornerTape saves time, creating a much easier, cleaner way of applying sealant with two ‘sides’ of the tape keeping the sealant neat and tidy for a perfectly parallel, symmetrical bead of sealant as a result. When the tape is pulled away, the sealant does not come with it, and there are no feathered edges or ridges in the new sealant – and no skill or experience is required.
