Monodraught has extended its range of SUNPIPE® natural daylight systems with the introduction of a new 1000mm Diamond Dome model, which has already been installed in two facilities at a leading UK science park.

The new 1000mm SUNPIPE Diamond Dome has been designed to meet the demand for higher lux levels in the UK and mainland Europe, where buildings such as retail outlets, sports centres, etc., are increasingly being designed with ceiling heights of 12 metres or more. The 1000mm model is calculated to produce a 70% improvement in performance at a height of 12 metres when compared to the current 750mm model.

Commenting on the new addition to the SUNPIPE range, Monodraught managing director Tony Cull says it is a result of the company’s on-going investment in research and development; and the creative and innovative approach of the R&D team to developing natural, energy-free and energy-saving solutions.
