As a sustainable energy source, methane produced from biogas plants is already well established in Europe. This is used with a Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP) to generate electricity for local use or to feed-in to the grid. The heat generated as hot water may be used to fuel the fermenter process and serve local or district heating networks.

PIPE2000 distributes BRUGG flexible pipes which can be used in the fermenter (NOROFLEX stainless steel) or as pre-insulated underground pipe (CALPEX PE-Xa) for the heating network.
