Following her extremely successful tenure as Chair of RICS Matrics
Glasgow in 2008 - 2009, Rebecca Loughran, Senior Surveyor in
Construction Consultancy with Drivers Jonas LLP in Scotland and
current Vice Chair of RICS Matrics Scotland, attended a ceremony in
London recently to be presented with another award. Rebecca
collected the trophy for Glasgow being the best and most proactive
RICS Matrics branch in the whole of the UK (this is in addition to
the Scottish Chairman’s Cup which she won earlier this year).
Prior to starting her career, Rebecca graduated with a First Class
Honours in Building Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University and
won the Robin Hagart Rose Bowl for the top final year student.
Commenting on winning this award, Rebecca said:
“This is a great accolade not only for me but also for all members
of the RICS Matrics committee in Glasgow and it represents the huge
amount of hard work and effort that committee members have put into
making Glasgow such a success over the last few years.”
