Cablofil has launched its PVC Cable Tray range to the UK market in
response to growing demand for the company’s quality and innovation
in damp and corrosive environments.
Known as the company that has pioneered the use of steel wire cable
tray in the UK, Cablofil already has a range of stainless steel
systems, such as its 316L product, that have been especially
designed to provide exceptional anti-corrosion benefits. However,
the company’s PVC range has already proved extremely popular both in
France and Spain and growing demand for Cablofil products in the
water industry and heavy industrial environments has prompted the
company to offer the range here too.
Explains UK managing director of Cablofil, Paul Courson: “The ease
and speed of installation, flexibility and lightweight advantages of
Cablofil steel wire tray have made our stainless steel products
widely specified in water treatment and industrial settings.
However, in very damp or corrosive environments PVC offers enhanced
durability and longevity so this move has been designed to offer our
customers increased choice with the peace of mind of dealing with a
specialist that they know and trust.”
Easy to cut, perforate or join together, the Cablofil PVC system is
lightweight to handle and transport and does not need to be earthed.
Suitable for installation both indoors and outdoors due to its UV
protection, the range is ideal for damp, salty environments,
industrial settings and commercial applications.
Encompassing profiles, fixings and support accessories, the Cablofil
PVC range offers everything required for a complete cable management
installation. The system is available in both perforated and
unperforated variations, in a choice of standard or reinforced
profiles and can be supplied in widths ranging from 75 - 600mm and
in three depth options: 50, 75 and 100mm. Alongside it, Cablofil has
designed a complete range of accessories, including thermoformed
fittings with integrated couplings that can be adapted to any
configuration. Couplers and clips have been cleverly designed to
simply clip onto the profile and an extensive range of tee kits,
bends and risers means that installers have everything they need for
a fast and simple installation.
Paul adds: “PVC may not be the material that the UK market
associates with the Cablofil name, but our PVC range has been
developed with the same smart thinking, attention to detail and
solutions-led approach as our steel wire system. What that means for
the installer is that they can be confident that whatever they
specify from Cablofil it will be well-designed, fast and simple to
install and of the very highest quality.”
