Elected by votes from over 2000 participants at MIPIM Asia 2010 The
Parkview Green project comprising 240 000m2 of Retail, Office and
Hotel facilities won the “Green Building of the Year” award.
The building has made use of many innovative techniques and is the
First LEED Platinum building to be developed in China.
The 80 000 sq m offices are served by the AET Flexible Space
Underfloor air conditioning system which has been adopted in several
major projects in the last two years including the state of the art
MICROSOFT 20 000 sq m Campus Phase 1 in Shanghai, the 200 000 sq m
Sino Chem Cruise terminal Office development and the MIRAE Asset
Management Tower in Pudong Shanghai. In Hong Kong the 90 Floor Nina
Tower and the 100 000 sq m CENTER also make use of this concept
which has been shown to save in the region of 20% Energy compared
with conventional ceiling based systems.
In the UK developers adopting the system include Allied London,
Commercial Estates Group, Grosvenor Ltd, London & Regional, O&H
Group, Scottish Widows, and end users including Landrover, Tag Heuer,
Monsoon, Willis, BAA, BBC, World Bank, News International,
Bloomberg, Herbert Smith.
