Daikin UK will be exhibiting at
Stand N1840 Ecobuild 2011 in
London’s ExCel Arena from 1-3 March. With more than 50 years

Since launching its industry-leading Daikin Altherma domestic
air-to-water heat pump range three years ago, it has continued to
launch of a series of “world-first” products, such as its new Daikin
Altherma Flex Type heat pump for apartment buildings.
At Ecobuild 2011 Daikin will be focusing on its range of renewable
heat technologies, which is able to provide a solution for every
domestic heating and hot water application – from full-scale
apartment buildings to individual homes and from historic,
hard-to-heat period properties to state-of-the-art new build
developments.
Commenting on this innovative range of heating products, which
includes the Daikin Altherma air-to-water heat pump and its solar
thermal hot water systems, Managing Director Peter Verkempynck said:
“The benefits of an air-to-water heat pump system are now widely
understood as a highly efficient solution that can provide up to 50%
reduction in carbon emissions and much lower running costs –
especially when compared with oil, LPG or solid fuel systems. But
advances in technology mean that it is no longer true to say they
are only suited to thermally efficient new build properties with
underfloor heating. The latest range of air-to-water heat pumps from
Daikin UK means that whatever the challenge there is a heat pump to
meet the project’s needs.”
As well as the domestic range, Daikin UK will be underlining its
position as technological leader in the field by exhibiting its
energy efficient heating and cooling solutions for the office,
retail, leisure, hospitals and schools sectors. The VRV system has
the ability to recover heat energy from areas in a building that
require cooling and reuse the extracted thermal energy to other
areas that require heating or provide hot water for wash rooms,
underfloor heating or radiators. With the ability to achieve energy
efficiency levels of up to 10 kW output to 1kW electrical input this
is the ultimate in energy efficient heating and cooling.
Daikin UK will also be exhibiting its award winning Nexura and Emura.
These high quality, stylishly designed heating and cooling units are
designed for design-led domestic properties, as well as for small
shops and hotels where style is of paramount importance. So,
whatever the application there is a Daikin UK product to fit the
bill – providing highly energy efficient renewable heating and
cooling solutions for commercial and domestic applications.
